Private AI Note Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Private AI Note is designed as a local-first personal information app. It helps users manage diary entries, records, finance books, shopping lists, invoice scans, and optional AI-assisted workflows.
The app does not create an SQF Studio cloud account and does not automatically upload all local app data to SQF Studio servers.
2. Data stored on your device
The app may store content that you create or import, including diary entries, titles, dates, moods, tags, image paths, numbers and passwords records, Finanzbuch items and snapshots, shopping products, prices, invoice details, AI chat history, app settings, and AI provider configuration.
This information is used to provide the app's local features, such as viewing entries, searching records, editing finance books, importing invoice items, and showing previous AI conversations.
3. AI API keys
AI features require API keys provided by the user, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, or other compatible providers. API keys are stored on the device and are used to call the selected AI provider.
SQF Studio does not receive your API keys through a separate SQF Studio server. When an AI provider is called, the API key is sent to that provider as required by its API.
4. AI features and third-party providers
When you actively use AI features, the app sends the content needed for that task to the configured AI provider. This may include AI assistant prompts and context, invoice text or image-derived content, diary text used for image generation, shopping price data selected for analysis, or other content you choose to process with AI.
Third-party AI providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. If you do not want certain content to be sent to a third-party AI service, do not use AI features with that content.
5. AI assistant and diary saving
AI assistant responses can be saved into diary entries. After you save a response into a diary, it becomes local diary content. It is not automatically sent to AI again unless you later choose an AI feature that uses that diary content.
6. Invoice scanning
Invoice scanning can use the camera, selected images, or selected PDF files. The app may process invoice photos, image files, PDF pages, and extracted invoice details such as company names, items, dates, tax rates, and prices.
If AI invoice recognition is used, relevant invoice content is sent to the configured AI provider. Invoices may contain personal shopping and spending information.
7. Voice input
Diary and AI assistant screens can use voice input. The current implementation launches the Android system speech recognition interface. Private AI Note does not store raw voice recordings and does not directly process audio files inside the app.
Speech recognition may be handled by your device system, keyboard, or configured speech service. Please review the privacy policy of your device or speech service provider for details.
8. Camera, images, and files
The app uses camera access to take invoice photos. It can also process images or PDFs that you actively select. The app does not scan your entire photo library or file storage.
9. Network access
The app uses network access mainly to call AI provider APIs configured by the user, including AI chat, invoice recognition, image generation, and selected analysis features.
Local features such as diary writing, numbers and passwords records, Finanzbuch, and shopping lists can be used as local record tools without AI provider configuration.
10. Data deletion
You can delete local diary entries, records, finance books, shopping data, and AI chat records in the app where deletion features are available. If content has already been sent to a third-party AI provider, SQF Studio cannot directly delete data already received or processed by that provider.
11. Children
Private AI Note is not designed specifically for children. Minors should use the app with guidance from a parent or guardian, especially when using AI services, API keys, personal records, financial information, or password-related content.
